The 6^th Annual ‘Best in Paradise’ fundraiser was again a shining success! 

Despite the rain, 1200 cheeseburger and margarita enthusiasts came out and “partied with a purpose”, raising  $9,000 for the Northern Illinois Food Bank!

Hunger is exploding in our area, with recent data showing an increase of over 168% people using the Northern Illinois Food Bank than in the past 4 years!  With unemployment escalating, the money raised will provide 72,000 lbs. of food for our hungry neighbors!  Not only did your support provide food for the hungry but you are also giving back to your community by being part of the hunger solution.  Through the NIFB’s various programs, over 1 million meals will be served to children this year…. nearly 50,000 because of OUR combined efforts!  The effects of childhood hunger are devastating and long term, but you are part of the solution and we thank you on behalf of the children whose lives you have impacted by participating in his event!
